Pi has taken up significant space in my mind since I was a young adolescent. I cherish the serenity found in memorizing the patterns of the seemingly patternless entity. Pi is not random, it holds the mystery of the circle.  

Morgan Petitpas is an Ipswich-based artist working primarily in assemblage and fiber arts. Her work spans themes of the unconscious mind, the natural world, mathematics, and a childlike sense of wonder.
