While traveling 20,000 leagues under the sea, Captain Nemo explored the glorious world of coral reefs and the astonishing creatures supported by them. Today’s warming oceans, pollution, and unsustainable coastal development put coral reefs at risk for destruction. In the future, the vibrant life of the coral reefs may only be seen through artists’ renditions of them.
