Laundry Blue

Tyvek, rope, paint, clothespins

Clotheslines can make us feel melancholy. They can transport us to a different time and place. They can give us permission to be a detective, a voyeur, without the guilt. This piece invites us to create a story about who might own these clothes and what is happening in their lives.

Thea Shapiro is a mixed media artist who lives in Andover with her husband and their dog. She has many jobs and is always busy.
