Shredded in a Paperless Society II

Wood and/or canvas, shredded paper coated with acrylic for weather proofing, light chain ink for paper interior, tent pegs

This trio of tree stumps quietly reminds us to be mindful and sparing when making use of nature’s bounty. Too much, and we and the trees are blue in our togetherness, pained to our shredded roots.

I’m an abstract painter and a contemporary, experimental artist who makes wall pieces, sculptures and installations using recyclables and found objects. Based in Gloucester, I’m inspired by nature and often express environmental concerns through art.
