Mabel, my maternal grandmother, created needlework including embroidery, knitting, crochet and needlepoint – her hands touched many threads! My memory of her is an unbreakable thread and inspired this tribute to her creative spirit.

Lynne Havighurst is an artist and graphic designer. This is her 15th year exhibiting at Maudslay. Lynne and her husband, Jay, create websites and print graphics at their design company, Artfluence.com.
