Environmental issues have been a favored motif since the 1980s. In sculptures, I've often used recyclables, from plastic and aluminum to paper. In Going, Going, G... fractured, melting ice is portrayed with paint and canvas on melting remains.

Based in East Gloucester's Cripple Cove, Sinikka Nogelo is an artist in several media expressions - from sculpture to paint. She likes to use a variety of materials - whatever she thinks will suit her thoughts in the making.
