The repetition is a chant. Pattern undulates between diamond windows, finding crests and valleys. It reaches out to us on one side, excludes us from the other. Is life coming at us? Is the past moving away?

Jill Jacobs is a sculptor working in steel rod. The narrow profile of rod introduces negative space, and requires repetitious pattern to build density. Her creative practice enables a dialogue between her muses, the tangible, and the metaphysical.
