Ancient navigators traveled the world at their own peril attempting to find longitude to cross the intersection of longitude and latitude employing the Sextant for celestial navigation. Now, the beautiful Maudslay sits on the intersection of 42.8234 degrees N. and 70.9250 degrees W.

Retired art teacher from Haverhill High School. Susan received her BA in Drawing & Metalsmithing, Southern Illinois University; MA in Metalsmithing, Eastern Illinois University; and MFA in Metalsmithing, Montana State University. She has exhibited in the United States, Austria and Japan.
