For Thee

Steel cylinder tanks (like those used for oxygen to keep COVID-19  patients alive), welded steel

I feel the pain of others as if they were my own and translate those emotions of hurt, misery, grief, and agony into something others can see and understand better.  Art and artists can help heal the world.

Ellen (Messner) Rogers grew up in Amesbury, Massachusetts and made a mid-career switch to art from veterinary medicine.  In 2017 and 2018, she produced a large-scale Memorial Day installation with tremendous community help.  She currently lives in Rhode Island.
