Refraction

Mixed media on hand-cut canvas

This piece comes from quarantine as a marker of a time spent slowed down. During this time I have learned to appreciate the golden hour of light that passes through my window every day.

Sophia Dunzelman recently completed her BFA in painting at Montserrat College of Art. She is an interdisciplinary artist working with traditional media, photo, video, and more to explore public versus private experiences and her facilitating role as an artist.
