My artwork is a tangible representation of the issues I care about. During this pandemic, I am concerned about our government’s late and uncoordinated response that has cost lives. These clothes symbolize those lost.

Gayle C. Heney is producer and host of the TV series "Write Now" and former Poet Laureate of North Andover. Her artwork was displayed at Maudslay State Park, Whistler House Museum of Art, Spicket River Footbridge, and Poets’ Wall.
