Plastic straws, fishing line, fishing rope

Himmeli is a Finnish hanging ornament traditionally made with wheat straws and string. After finding plastic straws and fishing line on local beaches, I was motivated to find a way to repurpose them.

Elise likes to create things that make people happy, whether it's knitting dog sweaters, painting portraits of Jeff Goldblum, or repurposing everyday items into art.
