Spruce, aluminum

Tensive, an installation, combines vertical spruce and aluminum forms – each connected to the older hedge that lines the walk. Interaction between the elements visually surrounds the viewer as the spruce boards spread upward, penetrating the sky.

Jay Havighurst is a graduate of Mass College of Art and works as a designer of sculpture, sound art and energetic forms. Jay’s studio is in Essex, MA where he and Lynne create in their business, Artfluence.
