Cobalt Twilight

Tree, colour paint ships, paint, netting

This piece plays with the blue undertones in nature that we don’t consciously perceive as being present. Looking closely at a “gray tree” reveals a rainbow of blues and other nuanced colors. Here it is rather clunky, counter to the exquisite beauty of nature’s naturally occurring myriad blends of colours. House paints usually need at least four different coloured pigments to achieve one specific colour. Thank you to the park staff for their continued hard work and generosity each year.
