Four repurposed bamboo window shades

Although a literal interpretation Shades of Blue highlights concepts associated with light and shadow, mood and meaning. Tint, tone and hue affect color saturation, shadow intercepts light. Light creates brilliance. Perception of color; altered by nature’s changing light, shifts, becoming illusionary.

Lisa Victoria resides in Newburyport, is a working artist and holds a degree in Art History. Fascinated by light and shadow, her works often create response to this phenomenon.
