One Bird, Two Birds, Red Bird . . .

Iron, paint, wooden cigar boxes

Each student forged a branch from an iron rod, and built an exotic birdhouse from a cigar box. The birdhouse holes are sized to attract bluebirds, and swing from the hangers in the open field.

Learning Outpost is a school for self directed students in Newburyport. This project was a collaboration between Learning Outpost, Winnipesaukee Forge and the Arts Collaborative.
