Threads means for me this year, the interconnectedness of mothers and daughters and how they give birth to new ideas and care for each other over their lifetimes. Each woman’s body is a sacred space worthy of respect.

Ellen is primarily a painter who loves the challenge of new materials. She paints anything but has since childhood been intrigued by the figure. Ellen has been making art and teaching art for 30+ years.
