Left To Thrive

cloth, lace trim, reed, jute twine, yarn, thread, buttons, beads, kapok stuffing

Seeing stuffed toys left outside, whether that be an innocent mistake or a deliberate, somber action; as time progresses the toy reacts to the elements in someone’s place. It’s appearance is a testament to resilience and continuing forward like thread.

Carolina Galván-Alvarado is a graduate of Massachusetts College of Art and Design. A multi-media artist with a focus in stop motion animation. Electing to explore different art mediums to tell stories in a playful way.
