Sculpture materials described here. 

This sculpture uses six mountains.  Using coordinates of topographical maps and computer graphics, I added each one together. The result was a schematic that I used to weld rectangles of steel together into the shape of a synthesized mountain.

Jesse Kalfel is the recipient of grants from the NY State Council of the Arts and the Massachusetts Arts Foundation. The project was funded by CAST: Collaborations in Arts, Science and, Technology.
