As a gourd artist for the last 20 years, I have been a proponent of using organically grown gourds as a sculptural medium due to their minimal carbon footprint and unique art appeal.  Gourds are also lightweight and easy to sculpt.

I have degrees in ceramic engineering and art history...and gourd technologies.
