Since I am more at home with two-dimensional expression, sculpture is a different branching-off for me. At the urging of a friend, I am bringing the two- and three-dimensional worlds together. The "fracture" element of this piece is about our fractured connection with this earth, the way that we use it to suit our survival and needs, while aware of the peril that some of our choices create, ultimately to that very same survival. A fracture, in medicinal terms, is something that can be mended and made whole again. Can we, and will we, as a species, do what mending is needed, for our mutual survival?

Employed as a full-time graphic designer, and building the business of selling my art, I am always seeking ways to augment my creative expression.
