Shock Waves
plaster of Paris, shellac, commercial 'play sand', straw, metal u stakes
I've been taking pattern samples on Cape Ann beaches since the '70s. I incorporated these patterns in my pewter artworks. This work is a reflection of the terrible balance in the condition of the environment where anything could go awry.
RISD 1971, Silversmithing. Designer craftsman for 15 years, then worked in the machine-building industry. Exhibited widely from 1970-1984, then sporadically. Work now in multiple media, including watercolors, photography, and assemblages from found objects.
